The Blair County Health and Welfare Council will meet Friday, February 3, 2017, from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at The Arc of Blair County. Guest Speaker will be Charmayne Raia, Assistant Director, Blair Drug and Alcohol Partnerships. Charmayne will provide an update from Blair Drug and Alcohol Partnerships. In addition, Charmayne will briefly discuss their newer projects including their new position on the Student Assessment Teams, their 24/7 coordination efforts with UPMC Altoona, SBIRT (Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment), and their Vivitrol and Naloxone projects. The Blair County Health and Welfare Council provides education and information to the public on health and human service needs, services, and resources. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting.
